Itinerary:
- Established between 1666 and 1679, by the Dutch East Indian Company (VOC), and today the seat of the military in the Cape, is the ‘oldest and historically the most interesting building in the Cape’, the Castle of Good Hope. (Drive Pass).
- Known for its Malay culture, and also called Malay Quarter, is the internationally renowned “colourful houses” in Bo Kaap. It is a fascinating and vibrate area that somehow managed to bypass the forced removal policies of the Apartheid. (15min).
- The next 20mins will be spent in the Company Gardens, which holds the Seat of Parliament, Pristine lawns, and Statues of past leaders, amoung many other interesting qualities. The Company Gardens is also home to the South African Museum, offering a look at life throughout the ages in South Africa.
- A visit to the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, along the Atlantic seaboard, is next. Situated just a few minutes away from the City Centre, these beaches are prominent for sunbathing and various water sports. (15min).
- Adjacent to the Lion’s Head Mountain is Signal Hill. The hill offers spectacular panaromic views of Cape Town City, provides a beautiful hiking trail, and is where historic noon gun is fired daily.

Disclaimer: This package will always include Table Mountain as part of the package, unless the cable car are closed due to weather or maintenance. Should this be the case, Table View will be visited for a “postcard view” of Table Mountain.
